Jumo's GS2 task lamp with clamp, designed in 1960, was widely used in French offices until the 1970s. Its name is derived from creators Yves JUjeau, Pierre and Andre MOnique. While little is known about its designer, the lamp has a modernist look with classic touches. It features 2 articulations, a large polished aluminum reflector, and a solid base, providing stability in all positions. Polishing away old paint reveals its steel and metal patina, superior quality to recycled metals used in mass-produced copies. Their variations in tone, due to usage and age, give it a warm and authentic feel.
